THEMES AND SUBTHEMES

Navigating the Future

Subthemes of the Conference
Using the stars for navigation has always been at the forefront of many cultural stories. In New Zealand we use the story of Matariki as a sign for people to gather, honour those who have passed, celebrate the present, and plan for the future.
